This took me long but I got it! Tips for sides: Someone in the comments mentioned to not screw the metal parts on the sides in too tight. I losened mine a tiny bit, just so they could wiggle a millimener or so. I also pretty much had to put my full body weight on it before it went down. Really tricky when you can't see what youre doing. Also my second side just wouldn't go in and I noticed a very slight curve in the wood in the hole. I tried filing it down with a screw and it helped. It's really the small things that can ruin this.

Very low quality. After 2 years material started to tear. Ikea Slovenian says thats normal use and that this is not warranty. So 10 years warranty for Ikea sofas is a big lie

6 years old and still the best video for Pax that is out there. They are coming out with a Pax 2.0 this summer... maybe you should do an update!

Awesome video! I just got done watching this as well as putting the bed together. For anybody having issues with the drawers. Move the bracket up one hole closer to the front face of the drawer. My first shelf I put the sliders more towards the rear of the drawer and they would only go about 5/8 of the way into the bed. Great information here to bounce back and forth between the instructions. I appreciate it!

The fittings are no different to rest of IKEA furnitures which are technically not that strong. Don’t know how does this beds fair in terms of strength. Can they withstand jumping two 8/10 years old kids?

No mention of drill bit size

Am a PAX Installer in Melbourne/Australia & wall attach is a personal choice with 58cms depth but advisable with 35cm depth & 50cm doors/sliding doors Can remove skirting board (SKB) and replace where required, cut the SKB to fit the frames where required, with SKB in situ-use a piece of wood over holes or full width of PAX, 20mm electrical pipe etc. Interesting video but not a way I would select. 3cms off wall option would be steel brackets on top. Many ways available
